The 15th Annual Direct Dialogue between EU Capital City Mayors and the European Commission takes place in Lefkosia in the framework of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The Dialogue is a long-standing high-level forum for direct exchange between EU capital city mayors and the European Commission.

Taking place ahead of the Multiannual Financial Framework 2028–2034, it focuses on the role of capital cities as strategic partners in strengthening Europe’s cohesion, competitiveness and resilience, and on reinforcing the urban dimension in future EU policies.
