The sponsorship process is carried out by the Secretariat pursuant to Article 36 of the Public Accounting, Financial and Auditing Law of the Republic of 2014 (Law N. 38(I)/2014), and in accordance with the “Presidency Handbook of the Council of the EU,” accompanied by the relevant note of the Secretary-General of the Council dated 30 June 2021, titled: “Sponsorship of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union: guidance on best practice.”
