1. Data protection by the Government offices of Cyprus (the Cyprus presidency)

The Cyprus presidency of the Council of the European Union has no control over the possible collection of your data by social networks, over the data collected by the latter nor over the way in which this data is used.

The Cyprus presidency of the Council of the European Union is unable to determine the volume, location or duration of data retention, the extent to which the social networks comply with the requirements for erasing data, the way in which data is evaluated and linked or with whom they are shared.

Legal basis

The Cyprus presidency shall process your personal data on the basis of:

2. Data protection by the General Secretariat of the Council (GSC)

On this website, the data protection obligations related to the use of cookies and to the management of the email alert subscription system fall under the responsibility of the General Secretariat of the Council (GSC).
