Rare diseases affect over 30 million people in the EU posing major challenges in diagnosis, treatment and equitable access to care. In this context, the EU funded “CY26-RARE” project, for the organisation of the high-level conference, that aims to strengthen collaboration, foster innovation, and drive progress in the field of Rare Diseases treatments.

The conference will highlight the goal of making Europe “the global beacon for life sciences by 2030”, support concrete health benefits to Rare Disease patients, through better prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

The two-day conference, with over 30 renowned speakers and more than 200 participants from across Europe and beyond, across multiple sectors, including health/research authorities, EU agencies, clinicians, researchers, representatives from the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, patient and advocacy groups, legal/ethical specialists, aims to serve as a major platform for dialogue, strategy and collaboration.

Αccreditation information

All participants must be registered and accredited in advance via the Cyprus Presidency’s online Accreditation Platform.

Important note: Each participant needs to create an individual account, with their own chosen credentials (email and password), validate their account and then register themselves using the individual access code received by email.

To receive the individual access code, please send an email to [email protected] no later than 29 May 2026. In your email, please indicate if you are a speaker/panelist, a participant from Cyprus or a participant from abroad in order to receive the appropriate individual access code. Participants are kindly requested to complete the registration process by 04 June 2026.
