The purpose of the Forum is to support a coherent and strategic approach on research infrastructures (RIs) policy in Europe, and to facilitate multilateral initiatives to enhance their development and use at European and international levels.
ESFRI operates at the forefront of European and global science policy, translating political objectives into concrete guidance for RIs in Europe. This overcomes policy fragmentation by providing Europe with advanced RIs that respond to evolving scientific frontiers and support the development and wider application of knowledge-based technologies.
