Examples reflecting the strengthening of international cooperation include the establishment of the Cyprus Centre for Land, Open-Seas and Port Security (CYCLOPS), a state-of-the-art security training facility in Larnaka. Established in close cooperation with the Government of the United States, CYCLOPS enhances maritime security, crisis management, and cyber capabilities in Cyprus and the wider region. It stands as a model of effective regional collaboration.
