The Committee for Orphan Medicinal Products (COMP) of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) evaluates for the designation of medicinal products as “orphan” and makes recommendations to the European Commission.
During the SRLM, organized by the member state undertaking each EU Presidency, the Committee learns from its work as well as other related current issues and determines its future strategic planning.
