The EU Chief Information Officers (CIO) meeting is an informal gathering of IT leaders from the public administrations of EU countries.

Strategic issues related to digitalisation, ICT and innovation in the public sector are discussed.

Participants exchange experiences, good practices and common challenges in support of the effective implementation of digital solutions in Europe.

The findings are non-binding but provide an important forum for the coordination of digital policies in the EU.
