An informal ministerial meeting of Justice and Home Affairs ministers is organised by each Presidency of the Council of the EU, and hosted in the country holding the Presidency.
These meetings focus on non-legislative Justice and Home Affairs issues and provide an opportunity for ministers and invited stakeholders to engage in informal and open discussions on topics of common interest. At the meeting in question, ministers will discuss issues related to returns, the Schengen area, asset recovery, the cross-border return of illegally removed cultural objects and the treatment of adolescents and young adults within the criminal justice system.
