The archaeological exhibition is co-organised by the Deputy Ministry of Culture of Cyprus and the Ministry of Culture of Italy, and it is curated by Dr Anastasia Christophilopoulou.
This major collaborative exhibition is in celebration of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union, featuring over 160 unique artifacts from Cyprus, Sardinia and Sicily, spanning 11,000 years of cultural history. The exhibition focuses on the long-term cultural relations of Italy and Cyprus. Through key artefacts and interactive installations, it makes a case for thinking of the Mediterranean regions surrounding this dynamic body of water based on connectivity and mobility rather than disciplinary and modern political boundaries.
