The purpose of the meeting of heads of EU law departments is to discuss key issues relating to the implementation and application of EU law by member states.

The meeting will also deal with the current case law of the Court of Justice as well as presentations relating to this.

A meeting of the EU Law Directors is organised on a regular basis - by each Presidency.

EU Law Departments Directors Meeting will include presentations on current legal topics from representatives from the institutions Court of Justice, Legal Service of the European Commission and Legal Service of the Council.
