The Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU 2026 will host the Ad Hoc Working Party on Military Mobility in Cyprus from 6 to 8 May 2026, bringing together representatives from member states, EU institutions and relevant agencies.
The meeting will combine policy discussions with on-site visits to key infrastructure, including the Port of Lemesos, Pafos Air Base and the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) in Larnaka. These visits aim to provide participants with a practical understanding of Cyprus’ role in supporting military mobility across the region.
